Love of Loafers for Comfortable Shoes

by MA
(New England)

I wear pants most work days, so I have begun to indulge in fashion-forward loafers (with lots of arch support) such as a purple pair of LL Bean suede loafers.

These go well with any purple accents in my tops, and go equally well with maroon slacks and a multicolor print top and solid sweater.

I have another pair of patent animal print loafers for meeting days in the office. They sharpen my outfit.

Since I live in the Northeast I like booties and have a few pairs of short-heeled booties. Some are among the most comfortable I have owned.

I have worn a number of them into the ground (partly due to the weather conditions, too). When I found a few at a great price I bought five in an array of colors.

I do feel more comfortable wearing different shoes every day and varying the heel height, even if only a little bit. It seems to help me from having any one area ache.
